The unveiling of Volume XXXIV (34) of the Jefferson Community College Black River Review (BRR), a journal of poetry, prose, and fine arts took place on May 9, 2024. The event was a celebration of the diverse writing and art talents of Jefferson students, faculty/staff, and alumni.

Jefferson Community College (JCC) held its Annual Recognition Celebration on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The College observed nine faculty and staff retirees and honored the achievements of faculty and staff including: SUNY Chancellor's Award recipients, those reaching milestone years of service to the College, continuing appointments, promotions, and a sabbatical. Additionally, the 2024 Spirit of Jefferson Award recipient was announced.

Jefferson Community College (JCC) held its 60th annual spring commencement ceremony on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the McVean Student Center Gymnasium. The Class of 2024 is comprised of approximately 349 students who are December 2023 graduates and May 2024 and August 2024 candidates for graduation with nearly 355 diplomas and certificates to be conferred.

The Center for Community Studies (CCS) at Jefferson Community College has completed its third annual North Country Current Issues Survey. In the study, a total of 1,882 adult residents from the tri-county region were surveyed.
