  • Open House to be held on November 16 Published October 12, 2018 Jefferson Community College (JCC), one of thirty community colleges that comprise the State University of New York (SUNY), will hold an Open House on Friday, November 16, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Open House gives prospective students and their family members a chance to experience JCC campus culture, talk with faculty and students, and discover how the College can meet their career goals! Open house will convene in the Commons, Jules Center (Building 6)

  • On Monday, October 22, 2018, the Jefferson Community College (JCC) Health and Wellness Center will host its annual Take Back the Night (TBTN) event at 7:00 p.m. in the Robert R. and Jean S. Sturtz Theater. Admission is free and the public is welcome to attend.

  • Sophomore libero, Mallory M. Harter, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) volleyball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending October 7, 2018. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions and Under Armour.

  • n Saturday, September 22, 2018, Jefferson Community College (JCC) dedicated the College's state-of-the-art nursing laboratory in memory of Roberta (Bobbi) Lynn Brabant, late wife of JCC alumnus Joseph G. Brabant, Class of 1973. Community members, area nurses, and family and friends joined the campus community to celebrate the legacy of Bobbi Brabant.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) announces the launch of a new associate in science (A.S.) degree program in Homeland Security beginning spring 2019. Classes begin January 22, 2019. Students may start the application process now. Applying to Jefferson is free!

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) Workforce Development and Business Division (WDBD) will continue to offer retail job training that leads to industry-recognized credentials from the National Retail Federation (NRF). Training is free and made possible by a New York State Department of Labor grant. The next 3-week cohort will begin October 22, 2018. Retail sales, food service, and hotels and hospitality are areas covered during training. Classes will meet on JCC's campus Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Transportation and childcare assistance are available.
