Jefferson Community College's longest serving member of the Board of Trustees, Steven C. Haas, retired from the Board of Trustees after 32 years of service to the College. Haas' last meeting was February 8, 2019.

Super Science Saturday (SSS), a celebration of math and science and an exploration of science careers, will take place on February 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Although designed for students in grades 5-8, all family members are welcome to attend.
