  • JCC alumnus Dylan Wilson Kernehan '18 is a two-time published author and recently appeared for a book signing event at The Little Bookstore in Watertown. His book titled Seasons of the St. Lawrence, published in 2021, is an anthology of his favorite sonnets reflecting life on the St. Lawrence River in Northern New York.

  • Freshman designated hitter, Camryn S. O'Donnell, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) baseball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending March 27, 2022. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions and Under Armour.

  • Freshman first baseman, William C. Cole, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) baseball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending March 20, 2022. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions and Under Armour.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) is seeking community support for its mascot, Boomer T. Cannoneer, in the State University of New York (SUNY) "Mascot Madness" competition which will determine New York State's favorite SUNY mascot. Voting begins March 22, 2022. Contest wraps up in mid-April.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) group "Voices for Social Change" will host a forum about the War in Ukraine on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. live in-person in Sturtz Theater and virtually via Zoom. All are welcome to attend.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) will hold its annual spring Open House on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Open House is a great opportunity for prospective students to experience the JCC campus culture first hand and get answers to any questions they may have about college. Check-in and registration will take place in the Commons, Jules Center (Building 6). Family members are welcome.
