SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) and Jefferson Community College (JCC), announced each institution has received $125,000 in funding from SUNY as part of an overall $250,000 award to strengthen the registered nursing (RN) pipeline, improve graduate retention rates in the RN and BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) programs, and develop a seamless pathway for RNs to pursue BSN, MSN (Master of Science in Nursing), and DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) programs at SUNY Poly.

Jefferson Community College (JCC) will hold a ServSafe Certification workshop on June 14, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lewis County JCC Education Center, Lowville. Intended for food service personnel, JCC's workshop helps food service establishments meet the New York State Public Health Law that mandates one ServSafe certified staff member be present where food is handled, cooked, stored, served, delivered, removed and disposed.
